Owner of Shop Lux and Reads! 📚👗

A little bit about me: I’m a full-time teacher, wife, mom of two kiddos and a book lover!

I decided to start my boutique journey at the end of summer 2023.

The idea behind Shop Lux and Reads started with my love for books and the vision of creating a cozy bookstore. But as time went on, my inspiration grew, and so did the concept. We thought, why not bring you a go-to shop where you can spoil yourself, or someone else, with the perfect fashion finds and a good read!

Now, I’m excited to bring you a unique blend of chic clothing and stylish accessories, perfect for busy moms who deserve to feel confident and ready to take on any day. 💪✨
We’ve held onto our bookstore dream with our curated Bookie Boxes, which obviously ties into our love for reading and the idea behind all of this! We proudly include items from other Canadian 🇨🇦 small businesses in our boxes and we are working on growing our selection to provide our book lovers with different options!

I believe that a good top or a stunning dress can help put a little pep in your step, and that a good book can be just what the doctor ordered.
